This Privacy Policy explains how EazeMyCargo ("we", "us"), operating from Visakhapatnam, India, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the EazeMyCargo website and fleet-tracking platform (the "Service").
Account information — name, work email, phone number, role, and organisation, provided when a customer sets up user accounts.
Vehicle and location data — GPS position, speed, heading, and timestamps from tracking devices installed in customer vehicles, plus vehicle and driver details entered by the customer (registration number, driver name and contact).
Usage and technical data — log data such as IP address, device/browser type, and actions taken in the platform, used for security and troubleshooting.
Contact data — if you email us (for example to book a demo), we receive the information you send.
We use this information to operate the Service (live tracking, trip monitoring, geofence alerts, reports), to secure it (authentication, audit logs, abuse prevention), to support customers, and to improve the Service. We do not sell personal information.
Vehicle location is collected continuously from GPS devices while a vehicle is being tracked, as configured by the customer organisation. Drivers are informed of tracking by their employer, who is responsible for providing any notices required under applicable employment and transport regulations (including AIS 140 requirements in India).
We share information only with: (a) the customer organisation that owns the data and its authorised users; (b) service providers who help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting and mapping providers), bound to use it only for that purpose; and (c) authorities where required by law.
We retain operational data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet the customer's contractual and legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Customers may request deletion of their organisation's data by contacting us.
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, authenticated access, role-based permissions, and audit logging — to protect data. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Requests from platform users are handled together with the customer organisation that controls the account.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The platform uses only the cookies or tokens strictly necessary for signing in and keeping your session secure.
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its "Last updated" date.
